Tibetan Buddhism's oldest reincarnate lineage turns 900
Dharamsala, Dec 9 - The Karmapa lineage commemorated the 900th anniversary of its founding in a grand two-day celebration that was held at Tergar Monastery here in Bodh Gaya. Karma Kagyu, or Kamtsang, is the largest lineage within the Kagyu School, one of the four major schools of Tibetan Buddhism.

Tibetan Parliament Honours Legislative Members of Himachal Pradesh

Apple Computing supports Tibetan Language
London: A recent update by Apple on Monday (22nd November) for all of its mobile devices included the capability of using the Tibetan language. The latest update for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, iOS 4.2, fully supports display of Unicode Tibetan and a Tibetan input method for virtually all applications.
