Geneva; 1st November 2021: As China continues to flout the universally accepted principles of human rights and the human rights protection and assessment mechanism of the United Nations, the need to hold China accountable for worsening human rights records has become more crucial than ever.

Geneva: 31.10.2021: In the afternoon of 31st October, Sikyong Penpa Tsering of the Central Tibetan Administration (CTA) arrived in Geneva, Switzerland, after successfully concluding official visits in Italy. Sikyong was accompanied by the Secretary of the Department of Information and International Relations, Karma Choeying and Representative Chhimey Rigzin of Tibet Bureau,Geneva.

Geneva: Tibetan Community of Switzerland and Lichtenstein (TCSL) observed the first death anniversary of Tibet’s longest-serving political prisoner Takna Jigme Sangpo on Saturday, 2 October.  A prayer service honouring the deceased was organised at the Tibet Institute Rikon.

Geneva, 24th September 2021: Tibetans in Switzerland & Liechtenstein held a peace march on 24th September 2021 from the UN Office of High Commissioner for Human Rights to the office of UN Human Rights Council paralleling the ongoing 48th UN Human Rights Council session.

Zürich: 25th September 2021: The Tibetan Community of Switzerland & Liechtenstein convened the second general meeting of Tibetan language and culture schools on 25th September to discuss and review action plan that would motivate and integrate the younger generation to the Tibetan culture and identity.
